Description
A glass plate negative depicting Roselawn, a house built on Bellevue Avenue for William A. Sweet between 1852-53. Architectural elements include a gable roofline with carved detail, a clapboard exterior, a balcony with detailed woodwork, domered windows, and a porch with arched posts. A large striped awning is situated above the entrance. A drive leads up to the house, and is surrounded by trees and shrubs.
