"Im Frühling (Spring)"
A LITHOGRAPH TITLED "IM FRÜHLING (SPRING)" (German, c. 1868) engraved by Edouard Willmann (German, 1820-1877) after the 1857 painting "Girl in a Field" by Ludwig Knaus (German 1829-1910). In the image a young girl gathers flowers in her apron. On the bottom left corner of the image it is marked "Knaus 1868." Beneath the image it is printed "GEM V. L. Knaus/GEST V. E. Willmann", below this the title is printed in French, German, and English, and below this it reads "Paris chez Goupil & Co./ Eigenthum u. Verlag v. P.Kaiser in Wien/Vervielfaltigung vorbehalten." It is housed in a walnut frame.
