A Pair of William and Mary Joint Stools
A pair of William and Mary joint stools (English, c. 1690) composed of black painted oak. The stools have square seats above four ring and block turned, slightly flared, legs which are joined by four matching box stretchers. Both have traves of blue paint showing through the black.
