Description
A pair of candelabras (German, late 19th century) made of porcelain and ormolu. Each candelabra has two gilt bronze candleholders on entwined vine-shaped arms accented with porcelain flower buds in various colors. The base of .1a-e features a shepherdess or while the base of .2a-e features a shepherd in colorful clothing. Both are seated on tree stumps; a goat is at the side of the shepherd and a sheep lays at the feet of the shepherdess. The candelabras are supported by four acorn shaped feet and applied leaf mounts.
