Description
An urn with twin female heads (French, 19th century), attributed to the retailer Olivotti & Co., Florence and New York. Composed of grey marble, the urn is carved with a fluted neck and pedestal base. Around the base of the neck are raised female heads, below this the body is carved with a bird among budding branches. The ring base is carved with leaf forms and raised on a low square plinth.
