A photograph of the interior of the Seventh Day Baptist Meeting House, including views of a stairway and a paneled gallery. An octagonal wall clock, made by William Claggett of Newport, hangs on the gallery at right (1884.4). At the time the photograph was taken, the building served as a display area for the Newport Historical Society's collection (see framed works near stairs). Photograph is a copy of an original taken for the Historic American Buildings Survey, 1937.
