Description
A glass plate negative depicting two elevations of Hopedene (built 1899-1902) and its grounds. The house is comprised of rectangular, arched, and dormered windows (with keystones), three chimneys, and a curved balcony sitting atop a set of large windows. All of the windows appear to be boarded, with a small square hole cut out in each. A large lawn leads up to an outdoor space with a balustrade. An additional house can be seen to the right.
