During World Wars I and II, Goat Island served as a manufacturing site for the U.S. Navy (Torpedo Station). Features of the facory shown include steel beams, hardwood floors, overhead light fixtures, and large windows to the left. A large pile of boxes are strewn across the floor to the left.
