A black and white aerial photograph depicting western Thames Street and Long Wharf in the midst of demolition and redevelopment. Razed areas are seen to the right, along the waterfront, and at left along Long Wharf. Piles of dirt and debris can be seen in these areas. Visible buildings include the Brick Market, the Hazard Memorial School, Grant's store, Lee's store, an anthracite manufacturing facility (center at waterfront; see P8039), and the Clarke School.
