Description
A photograph of Marlborough Street, looking east. The street is paved with dirt, and has many buildings along its side. The one closest to foreground has a hip roof, a dormer, shuttered windows, and an addition at right. The next building (at the corner) has a gambrel roof with shuttered windows and an awning. This building has a sign which reads: "E.H. IRISH. BOTANIC MEDICINES." In the distance, beyond the rooftops, is the cupola of the Colony House.
