Handwritten text on reverse reads: "Mary Manchester/Mitchell/has on gold beads (necklace) that she gave/me and was stolen in my 4th breakin - Sept/24,1988 - while I was taking a nap upstairs/along with about 82 other pieces all so/presious[sic]. Just depressing!".
