New York Interior Scene Colored Lithograph entitled "PUBLIC ROOM AT THE FIFTH WARD MUSEUM HOTEL". In the foreground are men wearing top hats chatting before a fireplace. The floor is black and white marble. There are hung pictures on the walls and trophies and decorations are scattered throughout the room. To the left is a man entering and to the right is a bar. Beneath the scene is written "Public Room at the 5th Ward Museum Hotel, Cor West Broadway & Franklin St. 1864." In the bottom left corner is written "Lith of Major & Knapp, 449 Broadway, N.Y." and in the bottom right corner is written "For D.T. V. Manual, 1864".
