A HAND COLORED GELATIN SILVER PRINT PHOTOGRAPH (American, c. 1908) by Wallace Nutting (American, 1861-1941) of a rural New England setting. Entitled "Into the Birchwood" and signed, in pencil, on the lower right "Wallace Nutting." The photograph depicts a gravel road through a grove of birch trees. It is housed in a contemporary molded frame.
