ONE STAFFORDSHIRE FIGURINE OF A HORSE BEFORE A STUMPWORK (English, 19th century), the oblong naturalistic base is molded and painted to represent a hilly terrain, the horse is white with brown/black spots, the tree trunk is decorated with small painted flowers and green vines.
