Description
A PAIR OF VIEUX PARIS PORCELAIN SPILL VASES (French, 19th century) each of cylindrical form with gilding around the base and rim. The vases are supported by three winged-faces on gilded paw feet raised on a low circular base. Both are painted with scenes of human like figures with animal heads in 18th century dress, PSNC.9334.1 has a scene of two standing figures, one stands with his back to the viewer, the other has a goat head, PSNC.9334.2 has a boar-headed man carrying a basket on his back.
