A SET OF 8 GILT BRONZE WALL SCONCES (French, 19th century) from the workshop of Jules Allard and Sons, installed in the Morning Room of The Breakers. Each is shaped with a baluster column terminating in a sphere with a pendant finial and supporting scrolled arms for 8 lights. The arms are decorated with curling leaves and end in gadrooned circular drip pans leading to tall candle holders. Originally fitted for gas and electricity.
