SET OF 14 ORMOLU AND CUT GLASS WALL SCONCES (French, 19th century) from the workshop of Jules Allard and Sons, Paris, installed in the Music Room of The Breakers. Fitted for electricity, each sconce supports six scrolled arms for lights, drip pans lead to vase shaped candle nozzles with supplemental cut glass drip pans. Large cut-glass pendant drops and florets are suspended from these arms.
