Description
A SET OF 12 BRONZE WALL SCONCES (French, 19th century) from the workshop of Jules Allard and Sons, Paris, installed in the Library of The Breakers. Done in the Renaissance style, each is supported by a bracket baluster column, the first tier is made up of three lights and the second tier has four lights issuing from curved foliate arms. Drip pans lead to fluted cylindrical candle nozzles.
