SET OF 8 LOUIS XV STYLE ORMOLU WALL SCONCES (French, 19th century) by the design firm Jules Allard and Sons, installed in the Breakfast Room of The Breakers. Each of the sconces has a scrolled back-plate in the form of flowers and leaves, this supports five asymmetrical arms with similar foliate decoration, the arms terminate in foliate drip pans and matching candle nozzles. The scones are fitted for both gas and electricity.
