Description
An inkwell and sander (American, c. 1760) composed of pewter. Both are pear shaped with horizontal banding and flared rims. The inkwell (.1) has a deep removable circular well surrounded on the top by five feather pen holes. The sander (.2) has a large central circular hole with eight rays of smaller holes.
