Description
A Chinese export porcelain punch bowl (Chinese, 19th century) decorated with a gilt rim, floral central reserve, and four alternating roundels on the exterior. Two of the roundels are painted at center with armorial shields bearing the gilt script monogram “JA” against ermine mantling in blue and gold against a white ground, the other two depict orange and gilt urns covered with creeping floral vines. The whole is raised on a circular foot base.
