Chinese Export Bowl with Coat of Arms

18th century

A Chinese Export bowl decorated with a coat of arms (Chinese, 18th century). The small bowl is painted on the exterior with a blue armorial cartouche bearing a fleur-de-lys and red flower. This is surmounted by a suit of armor bust. The interior rim is painted with a scrolling gilt floral border.
