A set of eight Louis XVI style ormolu 2-light wall sconces (French, 19th century) attributed to Maison Baguès, installed in Gertrude Vanderbilt’s bedroom on the 2nd floor of The Breakers. Each has a bracket in the form of a swagged flaming urn atop a tapered fluted column. Two scrolling candle arms support the lights.
