Description
A set of eight Louis XVI style ormolu wall appliques (French, 19th century) installed in The Breakers 2nd floor Guest Bedroom. Each has a tapered bracket support surmounted by a flaming brazier, emanating from this support are two U-shaped arms decorated with swags of foliage, the arms terminate in circular drip pans leading to vase shaped candle nozzles. All are fitted for electricity.
