A pair of upholstered wing armchairs (American, late 19th century) designed by Ogden Codman, Jr. (American, 1863-1951) and attributed to the manufacturer A. H. Davenport Co., Boston and East Cambridge, MA. The chairs are have oblong headrests hanging from tassels, are upholstered in peach cretonne, and have a ruffle skirt around the seat frame.
