AN ADAMESQUE-REVIVAL DROP-LEAF TABLE (English, 19th century) composed of satinwood. The two leaves open to create an oval shaped top. The center of the table is painted with a scene of putti frolicking with a goat in a landscape setting. The two drop-leaves are painted with floral garlands and crossed trumpets. The table has a single drawer fitted with metal pulls. The whole stands on four tapered legs painted with laurel garlands. The legs end in metal casters.
