An untitled pastel on paper landscape (American, c. 1825), the small drawing depicts a grassy knoll overlooking a river. In the foreground a group of four people are gathered for a picnic, a village can be seen in the background at center, the horizon depicts a blue-gray sky. The drawing is unsigned and housed in a contemporary black painted wood frame with a yellow interior border.
