Description
A set of four carved mahogany occasional tables (American, 1892-1895) made by William Baumgarten & Co., NY, designed by Emile Baumgarten (American, 1865-1922) for use in The Breakers Billiard Room. The matching tables have circular, quarter veneered dished tops with a narrow molded frieze. The tops are raised on a single baluster pedestal carved with foliage. The baluster connects to a square base with concave sides raised on four ball and claw feet.
